I had considered one other tour, over a couple of years, but its focus was on ideas and inspiration for quilters. It was led by some lovely ladies from an amazing quilt shop in Monterey, and their fees were actually less than yours, but, and this is the funny part, until THIS Spring, they didn't stay in Paris but visited more than one city depending on the year, and their days were programmed with morning and afternoon activities. I wanted to relax more than I thought I could with them, and I loved the idea of "living" in Paris, which your apartment arrangement seemed to support. I wanted your combination of shopping flea markets and riding the metro (Sophie's metro guidance was perfect, and made me completely confident about navigating on my own. Thank you, forever.)

So, what I liked best was your casual itinerary, our Parisian apartment for a home base, getting to know fellow tour mates, being introduced to the metro in a way that made me feel confident, and the combination of shopping/sightseeing and personal time to explore. I also found your communications before the trip about what to bring, etc., to be very helpful.

I don't think I ever would have gone to Paris without you, and I can't imagine not having that wonderful time in my life.

My Montmartre experience with Gwen Evans and Paris Found Tours was incredible. We all felt at home immediately in the lovely apartment Gwen arranged for us. Then she took us under her wing, showing us how to see Paris on our own and how to interact with all the people we met along the way.

By giving us the tools to get around independently, Gwen maximized our experience tremendously. She also was like a personal shopper, helping us navigate the Paris flea markets, the Montmartre neighborhoods, and Paris as a whole.
